Cat Cop Retires With Purrfect Record!

A hero cop has retired from the force having cleaned up his area of the capital of dirty rats for over a decade.

After taking charge of Vermin Control at Snow Hill police station in London, Reagan the cat has finally left his post.

The much-loved 11-year-old, London’s last remaining station cat, has been honoured by his peers for his “purrfessionalism” above and beyond the call of duty.

Pure white, short-haired Reagan was hired by the force in 1997 aged only eight months, along with a fellow feline, Carter, to tackle an infestation of mice and rats at the division’s headquarters.

Dog Call 911 And Saves Owner

A dog whose owner was having a seizure saved his life by calling the emergency services and barking down the line to raise the alarm.

Joe Stalnaker adopted German shepherd Buddy as an eight-week-puppy and trained him to use the phone if he began to have an attack.

Mr Stalnaker, of Scottsdale, Arizona, has suffered seizures for ten years after suffering a head injury during a military training exercise.

So when he got into difficulties, Buddy knew exactly what to do – hit the speed-dial button on the phone for 911.

A Jogger Has Been Attacked By A Red Kangaroo

A jogger has been attacked by a kangaroo on the outskirts of Australia’s second largest city.

The man suffered a gash on his head and claw scratches to his chest, arms and hands, Metropolitan Ambulance Service spokeswoman Christine Paterson said

He was attacked as he apparently ran between a male and female kangaroo near his home at an outer suburb of Melbourne.

Bernann McKinney, from the US state of California, stumped up $50,000 (£25,000) for five identical copies of Booger, her beloved pit bull terrier.

The puppy clones were unveiled at a press conference in the South Korean capital, Seoul, on Tuesday.

Curiosity Nearly Killed Cat Freddy

cat3.jpgCuriosity nearly killed Freddy the cat when he climbed up a power pylon – and spent the next 18 hours clinging onto wires for dear life.

The terrified moggy was too scared to move and had to be rescued from 25-ft high electricity lines.

His head was just inches from a live wire – which would have electrocuted him instantly – as he stood on an earth wire.
