But Robbie Williams has now thanked his new wife for ‘making him a better person’ and helping him turn his life around.

The 36-year-old singer tied the knot with U.S. actress Ayda Field in California on Saturday.

The star has also revealed details of the ceremony at their £12million Beverly Hills home, which saw him take to the stage to sing a version of his own hit song, Angels, in front of a handful of gathered guests.

Speaking in Hello! magazine, Williams said: ‘Ayda looked the most beautiful girl in the world. The setting was so magical and to be surrounded by family and close friends and then see Ayda appear looking so radiant was almost too much for me to take. I’m the happiest man alive.

Parkinson'sA shortage of vitamin D can increase a person’s risk of developing Parkinson’s disease later in life, new research suggests.

One 30-year study of 3,000 people revealed a three-fold higher risk of developing Parkinson’s in those with low blood levels of vitamin D.

A separate investigation found that low vitamin D intake was associated with a 60 per cent greater chance of suffering seriously impaired mental faculties later in life.
